During his time as an engineering technician with L’oreal in Piscataway, New Jersey, accomplished stationary engineer Colin Buqueras prepared and designed cosmetic processing equipment. He excelled in areas of process optimization, with an approach of developing optimization initiatives, implementing changes at the manufacturing level, and then iterating on the initial concepts to achieve further refinements. His efforts yielded increased efficiency and reduced costs in the L’oreal production environment. Colin Buqueras also provided technical manufacturing troubleshooting services.
Colin Buqueras has extensive experience with computer-aided design (CAD) drafting techniques and the design of computer numerical control components for cosmetic compounding and processing. His additional responsibilities at L’oreal ranged from designing electrical schematics to submitting batch records to the United States Food and Drug Administration.
Colin Buqueras studied mechanical engineering in Corning, New York. He was a Dean’s List student and member of the Astronomy Council, as well as a differential equations tutor and teacher’s assistant. Beyond his work as a stationary engineer, he is an experienced photographer whose work has been exhibited at the Whitespace Art & Event Gallery.
